The following story was sent to us by a 12 year old girl in Turkey.
MY DREAM
On Saturday morning, I woke up and went to the kitchen. I ate my breakfast and went back to sleep. In the afternoon, my mother went to her friend's. When she came home I was playing computer games. She said, ‘What are you doing? Please go to your room and study your lessons.’ Then my mother went to the kitchen. She made a jello cake. She came to my room and said, "Please go to the shop and buy some apples." I put on my socks, my trousers and my t-shirt and went to the shop. When I came back, I saw my brother. He is a swimmer. That night, the door bell rang and I opened the door. I saw all the neighbours and my brother’s friends. They said ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA’. I was very surprised and happy. Then, while I was talking to a neighbour, the lights went out. My mum took the jello cake and she said ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA’. We turned on the light and ate the cake. After that, I opened the presents. Suddenly, my mother came to my room and she woke me up.
